An interesting article just came across my Jaiku feed from the website for Wikinomics. The article sketches what an organization flattened for a knowledge meritocracy would look like.
I think it’s a radical shift from what many corporations look like… but looking at all the GenX and GenY workers that are making up the workforce, I don’t think organizations will be able to retain talent unless they feel like they have a voice in the organization.
Will and I have posted our notes/things learned from FlashForward 2005 on our wiki. We’re looking to fill the wiki with all sorts of Flash and ActionScript goodness, so if you attended FlashForward 2005 in San Francisco and/or have something to add, share or extend the knowledge tree, please .
