There's a setting, I think in the 'Options" menu (I think it's under "Edit") where you can crop and/or shrink the project to fit within your pixel constraints.  It's applied globally to the project, so once it's done -- it's done.

My advice would be to save a backup of it first before playing with these options, as in my experience, it's hard if not impossible entirely to undo.</description>
